Anxiety disorders are widespread in general medical practice, being the reason for seeking help from doctors of various specializations. Certain difficulties diagnosis and development patient management tactics caused by variety clinical manifestations anxiety disorders. Often they associated with somatic manifestations. Benzodiazepines, antidepressants, anticonvulsants, antipsychotics, antihistamines, beta-blockers traditionally used to treat these conditions. A limitation their use adverse events, risk which increases elderly. Modern pharmacology pays special attention safety drug therapy, makes choice a responsible step. In subclinical disorder outpatient herbal sedative preparations or based on them used, have favorable profile sufficient effectiveness.
